BBC to axe a channel

With BBC to axe a channel due to budget cuts which one do you think will go,

IMO BBC 1 and BBC 2 will remain untouched, I would of said BBC 4 goes but according to Ladbrokes BBC 3 is favorite.

    CBBC would be one for the chop as well, CBeebies has really good viewing figures, but CBBC channel just doesn't do the numbers.

    BBC Three does alright, but that's driven by Eastenders repeats, BBC Four could be rebranded to BBC Two Extra, and then force people to watch Eastenders repeats on the iPlayer.

    BBC3 is pointless, I only watch Family Guy on that. At least BBC$ shows some ARt docus now and then, most TV is just tripe for the Voice/Towie generations

    Oh, only looked at Media Guardian, which is usually v v good on these stories.

    You can save a fortune by merging BBC Two and Four, and maybe One and Three. They'll go for that compromise

    No!! The only money they would see would come from BBC staff - and they wouldn't be able to get on!

    See Paddy Power got some criticism today for opening a book on the Pistorius case verdict!!

    Both of the above are based on the edict that 'all publicity is good publicity'.

    they show new comedies on BBC Three, would be a blow for a publically funded channel which supports new talent to be scrapped. I'd say BBC Four, if what they're showing is any good it'd be on bbc one or two.

    You have to get rid of BBC 4 as you can't have BBC1, BBC2 and then BBC4! Merge BBC3 and 4 and call it BBC3, so the best programmes remain - simples!
