DIdn't know Michael Morrison was a Millwall fan...0

Your attendances would not not suggest so. West ham I can see but palace pmsl.MillwallFan said:
Cup final??? Hahaha. You actually believe that don't you? A local derby our crowd will always go up but west ham and palace are hated far far more than Charlton.soapy_jones said:Spanners must be sick though. Their cup final, huge crowd, only 1 point against their whipping boys...

The thing is we had Kerm until Jan and we couldn't score before he went, people have written whats different with Powell being sacked as we couldn't score with Powell and we can't score without him, but with Powell we did have Kerm and Stephens. And Sordell and Church were bought in before Roland came in and Powell was the manager who did that.paulsturgess said:Powell Riga Curbishley Mourinho.... It doesnt matter. No striker no goals. If we'd had Kerm we'd have won one of the last two games. Such a needless relegation that Roly Poly is taking us towards.
On the plus side, lovely day. Spring really setting in.

But most of the time when Kerms was here, Harriot and Pritchard were not playing (this season). These two make things happen, as Harriot has proved in recent games. Today we went 451 because it was more important that we didn't lose. At home we should go 442, and with Harriot one side, Pritchard or Wilson on the right we should start scoring again, of that I am confident.cafcinperth said:

Good to see Charlton get a point at Millwall. OK, no goals as other have stated but for this game, the positives have got to be focused on.
I think that Charlton may surprisingly pick up a few points against the better teams in the division over the next month. Charlton may get a bit more space as teams at the top will push forward and leave some gaps.0 -
I think this was a very positive result - it was on of those games where a defeat would have been a massive blow and maybe an issue was how important avoiding defeat was to both sides. But the upside is that with 4 games in hand, a draw was the better result for us. When Millwall sit down and think about it, they might feel that this is a blow - 6 points ahead playing 4 games more feels ok, 3 points ahead playing 4 games more is not good. The defence seems to be functioning so this is the time of the season to have a decent run and we can create a gap!2

The worry is that Millwall don't stay this bad.0

I think we should be looking at the clubs above us up to and including Blackpool, not just Millwall.Uboat said:The worry is that Millwall don't stay this bad.

Neither side really looked liked scoring tbh. Pleased with the point. Thought Poyet and Cousins (when he came on) continued to play beyond there years. Good to see Jose play Cousins in his best position (last time Boro away 18/01). If we can get in a good forward and right midfielder on loan I think we will be alright. Could not fault the efforts of the players who all put in a decent shift.
A win Tuesday will really put the pressure on the scum.0 -
They have been bad for a long time, winning 8 league games in 2013 & 2 league games in 2014, can't see things changing.Uboat said:The worry is that Millwall don't stay this bad.

Would Cousins at RB with Wilson RM work?2
-
Might do, but you don't change the defence when it is providing clean sheets. A bit more composure and quality with the final ball is needed. Maybe a loan or two to increase that in the side would make the key difference.Vinnie V. said:Would Cousins at RB with Wilson RM work?

This debate was done before. It is worth thinking about. Cousins has played at right back in the Academy. I think that Nego can play at right back if the left wing opposition is not outstanding. Morrisson knows the right back position as does Wilson and Cousins. In a 4231 formation it should be OK. If Nego plays with them there should be sufficient cover. Maybe you would not put Nego against a top winger but must be worth thinking about for the added bonus of having Wilson at right midfield.Vinnie V. said:Would Cousins at RB with Wilson RM work?
Cousins at right back in a 442 would allow Wilson to play at right midfield, not sure I would have Nego there in a 442.

They do love a flat cap and moody Stone Island at Millwall don't they....0

Two awful teams who have absolutely nothing in the final third.
No edge or spark on the pitch.
Lifeless in the stands.
The tamest South London derby for a while.
Hopefully half the people who turn up for their 1 game a season don't bother next time.
You looked organised but with no threat up front not sure where you'll pick up points.
We're down.9 -
Poor game 0-0 fair result no firepower up front plenty of possession means nothing if u cant score goals, millwall were there for the taking and it didnt happen , i feel we will be ok but its gonna b tight.0
-
If we are not able to beat a bottom four team, I fear for how we will fare for the next two Saturday matches.1

Bournemouth H
Burnley H
Forest A
Derby A
Leeds A
Looks like a maximum of five points to me. This will down to the wire and although we have it in our own hands I think we will need our relegation rivals to continue their bad form.1 -
Agree with Sparrow. We could easily go down with Millwall. Wish Kermy was still with us. I would be confident then.0
-
two poor teams. One which attempted to play football but didnt (us) and one who lumped it long to a bean pole(them)
Our midfield cant dominate in a game
Our forwards cant score
Ithink the idea behind taking Sodall off and bringing Reza on was to play on the floor but the guy is a trier but to light weight.
The ref was a fecking homer.
Herd that Kermie isnt playing on Tuesday -----not forgeting that they beat us with him in OUR side already. Its amust win game1 -
No Yann but Grabban and Pugh are on fire this season for Bournemouth so big risks up front.0

A little harsh. He didn't come on until 2nd half. We tried playing, we just aren't very good. You just played sideways.Goonerhater said:two poor teams. One which attempted to play football but didnt (us) and one who lumped it long to a bean pole(them)
You must forget that you resorted to trying to maim our winger Fred who was looking threatening.

Thought the only real threat they had was young winger making his debut but felt Wilson dealt with him. Thought we should have got at there right back (Dunne) a lot more as he was toilet. Very poor player. Could see why Holloway took him off.0

Just 3 goals in 9 league games since 1st January, says it all!
(Jackson 2, Sordell 1).Why not give Polish Pete a game?
Roland too tight for more or any loans!0 -
