Why? One good cross this season. 4 goals in 60 odd appearances. Very poor at defending, never goes past a player, what exactly would give him a higher mark?

My minus 5 maybe a tad harsh, but he really is not very good.

I don't like a witch hunt - Green wasn't amazing and his free kick was woeful, but he did some good things too. I'm not saying he isn't League One, but he should rightly be judged on his performance in the said match.

Well said, people just hate him and once Charlton fans make there mind up no going back after that. One nob behind me just slagged off green at everything he done but praised yann like a god, green is wearing the charlton badge not yann yet he gets more support, sums up the mentality some people have at the valley.

I am not on a witch hunt and I wanted DG to do well. I did not boo him or slag him off, but in my opinion we have players that are far better and should play. I have never told anyone else how they should score players either. I think a 4 is generous for the one cross that was good. That is my opinion, which has as much value as yours.

Hamer 6 - what was that rush of blood to the head charge out of the penalty area that nearly cost a goal all about?
Wilson 7 -player of the season so far
Dervite 7.5 -strong in defense poor distribution from our best ball playing centre half fantastic goal
Morrison 7- strong and resolute but looks like he is always prone to be done by a quick forward running straight at him with the ball at feet.
Wiggins 7 -skillfull and threatening sometimes and solid in defense.
Green 5- flatters to deceive and the footballing equivalent of a prick teaser. Doesn't do it for me or the team or anyone as far as I can see. Fluke shot/ cross that hit the post/ bar and the worst free kick seen at the valley this season .
Cousins 6- disappointing first half much improved due to tactical changes second half
Poyet 7- clearly a player of class and style but ability to influence games from deep quite hard for a kid.
Harriet 4- poor and right to have been withdrawn
Jackson 7- trier but unable due to lack of pace to influence in first half.change in second brought him into game more
Church 4.5- tries hard but so limited . Should have scored when one on one.
Obika 7- bit of a curate's egg from him . 20 mins great the rest average.
Sordell 7 - looked like a player again .

@ashley very informative cheers. The nemesis of the vast majority of CBs is a quick forward running at them, especially at Championship level and probably the best at dealing with it was the late great Bobby Moore in his prime or Des Walker. Morro is our number one solid no nonsense CB who does a good job for us, always gives 100% and definitely worthy of a new contract IMO.
