Good morning to one and all and welcome to the final match thread of the season. Firstly can I thank all of you who have been following this season and I hope you have found the updates to be informative and keeping you in touch with proceedings. I also do need to thank @sethplum for his opposition side perspective when we played away from home, @lancashirelad for score updates and stepping in when I was working, @paddy17 for his help in updating and a few others who also stepped in when I was not available. It goes to show what a great family of supporters we are!!

So onto today's game, with the pressure off we can sit and relax and hopefully play some good football, Blackpool are still in contention for the drop, albeit results need to go against them elsewhere.

I'll bring you the teams as soon as I get them, but finally from me COME ON YOU REDS!!!!

Cheers one and all!!!

Good morning all, good morning Red.
Here we are for the final one this season, and well done to the travelling Addicks.
I will report from the Blackpool perspective as usual, and apologies in advance for my slowness and my typos.
This is the first match thread this season, on the last game, when there is a sense of relaxation for us and we may actually enjoy ourselves.
I want to add to what Red has said, he is our leader of course, but there are many others who have contributed on these threads who make it so entertaining, it's been a weird old season, I wonder if this final day will be as weird. If Millwall, Birmingham, Doncaster and Charlton all win, then Blackpool are relegated so there is a bit of edge today.

Interesting that none of the youngsters or fringe players are getting a game

Eight of today's 18-man squad learnt their trade in the cafc academy. And that's without the rested Chris Solly

I'll do them RM and chip in with snippets if there is the usual radio coverage of the game from BBC radio Kent if you want.

Quick Question, if Birmingham were to Win, Millwall to Lose and Doncaster to Draw, Milwall and Doncaster would finish on the Same points and same goal difference, what happens then?

Goals scored I think and then goals conceded if all level a play off between them with winner takes all

Paul Merson on Sky discussing West Ham, quoted the old Charlton quote, where we wanted Curbs out because he only kept us in the middle of Premier. "Careful what you wish for", careful you do not assume every fan wanted Curbs out.
