In the play off final at their place on Saturday against Steve Brown's former team Dover on Saturday.

Pleased for Brownie , rocky start but done well . Going to pop along myself , always nice to be able to drink a pint at the match whilst standing watching the action.

No alcohol in view of the pitch this weekend

If they do go up it will be interesting to see what the Kuwait mob do of they go up and if they want to go straight up again.

I can see them building a new ground long term closer to the train station.

They've had plans drawn up for a new ground (don't know where) and also for redevelopment of the current ground.

Their ground is quite near to the station anyway, isn't it?

Is about 10 mins walk from Ebbsfleet international and Swanscombe, 5 mins from Northfleet so Stonebridge road is in perfect position for train spoting.

Plans have been put in place to replace the main stand I've heard, with new european standard floodlights going in at the end of the season.

I've heard a hotel will be built in the new ground as well to cash in with the paramount park being built next door.

Amazing how far they've come in a year, when you think this time last year, they were a few days from going out of business.

Absolutely awful game, one of the worst games of football I have witnessed. Fleet just bottled it. Neither side, on that performance, good enough for the Conference Prem.

Dover fans got an absolute soaking in the first half, rain of "Doncaster" proportions, we got a soaking on the way back to the car.

Was meant to be going today, but had to pull out due to work. From what I've heard from mates who went, I made the right choice......................

Brownie has put a decent squad together there. Will be interesting to see if he can keep them together and maybe even strengthen. If he can, I can see them winning that division by a canter next season......................

Much like we do with fans from gills territory...

Before anyone jumps on me this comment was tongue in cheek! And not saying I'm cool with it!

Because I'm a Dartford supporter, and they are worse than Millwall and place put together. Think you can say that 60 years of hate in that comment.

We ? 'We' don't hate anyone, that's a Palace attitude. Make you're own mind on things.

Personally, I've no malice for them at all. But I think they have the POTENTIAL to be a big threat to us over the next 5-20 years if they get there act together like I think they have the POTENTIAL to do, while our natural fan support moves more and more into their catchment area.

    Just my own view.

I've been to a few Ebbsfleet games over the last ten year and always enjoyed it. The fans are nothing like those of Millwall or Place

Because only Charlton are allowed to try and get more fans through the gate. It's our exclusive rite and anyone else that tries are bang out of order.

Welling should be our non-league team anyway.

I'm a Dartford fan, so they are local rivals, though it's all a bit bitchy at that level, and a lot of Dartford fans dislike Dover too. To be honest, my view was that Ebbsfleet were a better team and played better football over the season, but Dover did what thay had to do in the last match and up they go. A friend of mine was on the Dover thread three weeks ago, and it was just like ours - a whole load of fans having a rotten time and desperate for the season to end so they could regroup for next year, so yesterday must have been a big suprise.
At least fro Dartford, it means a couple of big local derbies at christmas. Last time we met, the two games bought in over six thousand fans with a good atmousphere and no trouble, so that at least is to be welcomed.

I'm not anti Ebsfleet, but don't entirely understand why we suddenly have to adopt them because many former Charlton people are there now. Dartford is my local non league club, and Welling United are Charlton's long time non league club have been Welling United.
