Not on CL ( I wasn't a member then).
Why are we buying lower-league players - we've been in the premiership long enough to be competing for proven strikers. But we bought Darren Bent anyway.0 -

When we signed Danny Green I claimed he was the best signing out of all those Powell made and he would either establish himself as a quality and regular player or move on for mega bucks sometime soon.
Although I did predict he'd have a mildly successful clothing business...0 -

I remember joining in the "mickey" taking of "Flash" Flanagan when he first played for us. My Dad had a right go at me and said he was going to be a great player.
The rest is history though I would say, in the hope that any punishment might be mitigated, that he proved to be a much better forward than the winger he started out as.0 -
