Any team news yet thinking of doing Lambert to score 2 goals or more @ 20/1

I think Lambert will start with sterling on the right and rooney on the left.
Lampard ox and Barkley in the middle.

Can't wait to listen to Clive wax lyrical about Rooney turning the Ecuador full back inside out, thus guaranteeing success in Brazil.

    Wilshere in for Sterling.

I thought the odds looked too good so I got a bit carried away and put down a fair bit. Are Ecuador even any good? I put one on us to win and one on us with -1 handicap.

Why can't we go the extra mile and stick Rooney on the bench? Send him the message that he's disposable and needs to up his game for the International side.

He couldn't even play well against Peru.

Absolutely. I lost all respect for Capello when he bottled out of dropping Rooney in South Africa after his shithouse performance against Algeria.

Has Hodgson got the bollocks to drop him? I think probably not....

did a whole 5 minutes research on them.....drew with the argies, uruguay and holland, lost five on the trot away from home before the holland game which convinced me to have a go

Good start from Adrian "arse" Chiles on the ITV coverage...

"Welcome to RIO, yes welcome to Rio Miami...!"

    Good grief

ITV do everything in their power to come across as an utter clusterf***k of a broadcaster.

Cut to adverts for the first WC goal in four years? Check. Offer a lame and brief apology? Check. Continue using an utter buffoon for an anchor? Check. Hiring Roy Keane? Check. Replace him with John Terry? Check.

We're done. I'll turn over when the game starts, use the radio commentary, and pretend they lost the right to ever screen sport ever again.

Trying to work out if he was joking or not. Worryingly I don't think he was.

Lampard should be nowhere near this team.

And that's a goal for those delusional people thinking we have a good squad. Terrible defending from the cross.

Who was stopping that cross come over? The best two English right backs are Clyne and Richards. Neither of them out there. Johnson is average and Milner is a midfielder.
