i ski'd banff, well actually sunshine and lake louise 4 years ago nearly to this day, i went on the 8th or 9th or so, and as oakster says, its fantastic, it was -10 minimum when i was there, no colder and the conditions were perfect. Oakster your a lucky man.0

But don't forget, virtually zero Charlton coverage, no decent indian takeaways/restaurants, no proper pubs, no real ale, no days above freezing for 3 consecutive months, mosquitos from hell in the summer, the need to carry pepper spray with you at all times in the summer & the worlds worst TV. Not everything is rosy over here either!0

-14c here, and it snowed 16 days out of 31 in Decemeber. However that is in Chicago with virtually zero Charlton coverage, no decent Indian takeaways/restaurants, no proper pubs, no real ale, the world's worst (perhaps 2nd worst) TV and lots and lots of fat Americans ;-00
