  • Man united at home would be great, a sell out valley would be a great sight to see after many famine years.

Selfish location reasons, Southampton away please.

The only team other then Portsmouth i can get home from after a midweek game.

You need to look at a map Gretna !
Old name, im based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight now, so Southampton away please, could not be easier for me.
You should really be Cowes Addick now then, although it would make you sound a bit of a cattle fetishist :-)
Perhaps, you could call yourself theartistformerlyknownasgretnagreenaddick

A Prem London club away would be good. Get a good allocation of tickets and the players can just go and give it their best shot. Who knows, we may even have a squad of players who can produce a shock or two!

They have already shocked me by winning a league cup game 4-0...

    Not Huddersfield??

Not a bad lot though to be fair. Worst ones would be Leeds, Forest or Reading. Or Watford or Burnley.

Christ I missed Bolton... that trumps the lot.

WTF why cant we get Oxford or Huddersfield? - But this is why the Cups should be regionalised (especially the League Cup as its on a weeknight)... i.e. why the fuck give us the possibility of a trip to Newcastle or Sunderland on a Tuesday night!!

(Either way we'll end up with Bournemouth or Brighton)

I would like another small club at home again, so BP can give young players a run out like last night and keep the best players fit for the league

    It WILL be Uddersfield!

Both our clubs are fatally locked in a deadly embrace of never ending mediocrity in the early rounds of crap unwanted cup competitions...

Big club at the Valley, would be good to fill it up. Especially with Chelsea or Arsenal, I'm sure we'd sell out the Jimmy Seed and they'd spill into the home stands.

According to the Capital One Cup website:

The draw for Round 2 of the Capital One Cup will take place on Wednesday 13th August on Sky Sports immediately after the conclusion of the Coventry City versus Cardiff City live TV match.

You need to add Cardiff City to this list, provided they win their tie at Coventry tonight. If Coventry were to get through then Sheffield Wednesday would join the seeded teams and hence would become potential opponents.

Not sure why this competition is seeded.

Presumably to help the big clubs get through another round without playing their first team.
