Warrington are in tier 8 which is equivalent to Isthmian League Division One North/South, I believe. On a similar level to clubs like Erith & Belvedere, Chatham, Eastbourne, Folkestone and Whitstable.
  • Danny Butterfield playing for Exeter.
  • Proper football in the best competition in the world.

Proper football match. For me, the spectacle was marred slightly by flashbacks to the Northwich game!

To be fair, Exeter as the league side gave it a far better go
  • You can stick your champions league up your arse - that's what it's all about.
  • Really enjoyable game.

Brilliant stuff. Nice to see the tradition of the tinfoil fa cup is still being respected by fans.

If we were in the 2nd round maybe.

Poor week for Exeter. Out of the cup and an interesting article on the club being run by the supporters trust in this months four four two. Supporters v the trust. Not happy bunnies in the part of Devon about what's happening to their football club

Thamesmead, Cray and Tooting. All at the same level as Warrington.

On a slightly related note, elsewhere in this round Halifax are drawn in a local derby against Parky's Bradford City.

When we played Halifax in the 2011/12 cup, ITV were billing the game as a shock waiting to happen. Thankfully we firmly confounded the expectations of that mediocre broadcaster!

Savage's interjections tonight were a bit odd, he sounded like the commentary on early versions of FIFA Soccer when it used to fall out of sync with the match

That's what the FA Cup is about. Kent league equivalent beating a league team!
