Whenever anyone mentioned him, in my head I pictured @Goonerhater - I'm sure he's older than 67 too...

Appeared in single/a few episodes of so many big TV series over the years, as well as his own "star" shows like Dalziel & Pascoe. Was never a huge fan of Dalziel when it first ran, but then really got into it over the years and the repeats. He'd just started a remake of Poldark as well.
A really great actor, very funny too and such a shame to go at a young age. Rest in Peace.0 -

My Dad happened upon that scene being filmed while he was out on his bike.
We'd moved into Stage 1 of Thamesmead in August 1970 - nothing else had been built at that point.
