Another Boooooooooring draw against a team that we play only a few days earlier. FA cup about as magical as my underwear.

At least all the Cup lovers should get a ticket. Should we get through I hope priority for fourth round tickets, should it be a glamour tie, goes firstly to those who attended the Blackburn game. Probably won't be an issue though. :-0

Could be worse, at least it's winnable and then it's off to the Emirates in Round 4.

Nice to get a home draw, would be good to get through a round or two in the cup

Whilst I don't usually expect us to be in the cup longer than it takes a weak fart to escape the confines of my underpants could this one be more boring? At least we wont be the most embarrassed team after 3rd rnd w/e I suppose, an acolade we have excelled at historically.

And a chance to see the debut of our new striker signed from PSG/psv FC Copenhagen *

    *delete as applicable
  • I didn't care about the FA cup anyway, this year it's all about the league. it's all about my local non league team Distraction, sunday league, reserve team, not going to win etc.

My son, who I can hardly drag to a game, has just text me to make sure we get tickets.

Can't tell if he's taking the piss.

Man City vs Wendies again LOL

Any guesses how many they'll put past the Wendies this time? 8? 9?

Charlton and Millwall both at home, one to be Sunday?
Guess Millwall the more likely if so
  • I might be the only Charlton fan on Earth who's pleased with that :)

agree Leroy, we can see the replay

Least it's winnable Drawable. 1-1 after going 1 up at half time. 113 Cafc fans at the replay which we also draw 1-1 after being 1 up at half time. I'm not telling you the rest.

I am worried the FA Cup hasn't accounted for the fact that we draw every single game we play. I think we'd manage to find a way to draw the penalty shootout...

The FA is going old school this season and abandoning penalty shoot outs.
Games ending in a draw will go to a replay, second replay, third......we'll still be playing third round in May.

The idiots in the crowd were going "oooooooh" after West Brom v Spurs came out. Why?! Just because it is two Premier League teams?

You know we don't get much excitement in the cup when the most interesting games we have had in the last few years have been away at one of the quietest grounds in Premier League history and a game against a mid-table League One side.
  • Am I right in thinking that all Clubs involved will have had a representative there in case their team drew a BIG one ?

Just that I thought I glimpsed JJ at the back ....

    Anyone else ?

They can't have done. They didn't have a representative from Blackburn there.

    Get in
  • Think I'll save a few quid and just follow on the match thread. Updates required please Red.
  • Revenge for the classic Full Members Cup Final. I still remember Hendry? Scoring right near the end and me crying most of the way home.

Having said that, revenge was when Darren DPitcher scoring the winner when drawing Blackburn really was an exciting prospect.

You're excused mate, Stewart or one of us will look after you for the glamour tie in round 4. :-)
