Nice one Beds, I look forward to the annual terrorising of your selections !

I get the impression you haven't seen a film made in the last 20yrs, so you are are the perfect reviewer for terrestrial and free view :-)

I rate The Terminal very highly. Superb performance from Hanks and directing from Spielberg.
On the dvd there is a great documentary on how they built a full size working airport terminal in a warehouse to film in.

Why list the films on ITV+1 and Film4+1?
Aren't these channels just ITV and Film4 but an hour later?
    Just wondering like.

What's the Tree of Life, Beds?

The impressionistic story of a Texas family in the 1950s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt). Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn) finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith. Stars: Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Jessica Chastain.

Agree with you. But channel four is an awful choice to watch it on, it's very much a film where you do not want adverts popping up every 25 minutes.
