According to @Scoutinginfo on twitter, a guy from Israel who tweets about english and israeli footie, tal is in negociations with Maccabi Haifa. However he said he isn't sure that they will be about to meet his wage demands. Apparently being reported in a lot in Israeli media. Great.0

I hope there is absolutely no truth in it and is just a rumour that started after Luzon was appointed due to the fact that he didn't want him at Liege.NomadicAddick said:According to @Scoutinginfo on twitter, a guy from Israel who tweets about english and israeli footie, tal is in negociations with Maccabi Haifa. Plus he may not fit into the way we are going to play it's going to be more direct football

Gaz, FFS, at least let there be 12 pages of RD/GL out before we try and find an objective post to this tweet.ValleyGary said:Take a look at his transfer news from last season. None of the signings happened.

Never been doubts about his ability, I've been really impressed (and surprised actually) by how motivated he's been this seasoncfgs said:To think that everyone was so up in arms when he was initially linked with us.

Ok, I know you have a far superior memory to me, but my abiding memory was a no thanks from most if not all.Henry Irving said:

TBH only signed for a year so Maccabi are likely to be discussing a contract for next season when he is free - and of course he can discuss contracts now with whomever he chooses.
Personally he should be our captain as he is guaranteed to start if fit whereas Jackson isn't any more5 -

I was thinking about when it first appeared on Twitter that he would sign for us, it was a while before he eventually did. When a few Israeli Journalists said it would happen, I know Twitter went into meltdown but that doesn't take much, I am sure it was mostly negative on here.Henry Irving said:

@Henry Irving
This is more what I like my useless recall remembered, although it does predate the transfer window he actually joined in, plus some are positive....

Suggest we get a message to Guy pronto advising him that TAL is our best player by a country mile (or whatever that is in Hebrew?)NomadicAddick said:

Because they're a foreign team he can actually sign a pre-contract agreement with them now can't he ?Swisdom said:TBH only signed for a year so Maccabi are likely to be discussing a contract for next season when he is free - and of course he can discuss contracts now with whomever he chooses.

Perhaps after 10 years in the UK and a year in Belgium, and almost 33 - Ben Haim wants to go home?
Maybe he has family issues to consider.

and I say fair enough good luck to him just wait until the end of the season please.Oggy Red said:Perhaps after 10 years in the UK and a year in Belgium, and almost 33 - Ben Haim wants to go home?

I thought his family were settled in Cobham following his Chelsea days.NomadicAddick said:

That's my point - he's entitled to do it - doesn't mean he is off right awayse9addick said:

TBH wears the number 26 shirt here at Charlton.
I didn't realise before that TBH has also worn the 26 shirt at Chelsea and some of his other clubs.
Right, back to reading my book ......
