@ "member's name"

I guess this is for @AFKABartram‌ and @LoOkOuT‌ really, but I was just wondering...
You know when you do "@" then a member name, their name comes up in red and that person gets a notification that they've been mentioned, right?
Well, when the member name has two words with a space in between, this doesn't work as only the first name turns red like this: @Henry Irving so how do you do this for two word names? I think I assumed that you put speech marks around the name like this: @Henry Irving‌ but the name then doesn't turn red, so does it still give that member a notification?

Just wondering, like.

Also, apologies to Henners for using his name as the guinea pig here.

Is that because he unscrupulously suggested my lol count was higher than my likes?

Sir Henry needs a drink when typing up the fans forum minutes.

He says cutting out the swearing, libels and slagging off of various lifers is very time consuming and stressful
  • It's slander.

It's only libellous when you type it up.

    See you in Court.

I think I've memorised what your Barrister wanted me to say.

Can we all see Henry's briefs?
  • So.......
Anyone able to answer the original post? How do you reference a two-named member?

  • Can't do this at the moment I'm afraid. Most usernames are forced to be one word, no spaces, but on CL we can have spaces. The problem is, the bit that allows @mentions can't account for the space, or differentiate in that way, so it breaks. They are working on it though, I believe. So, maybe one day.

    Oh, I see.
    Very informative @LoOkOuT‌, cheers.

  • I'd change my CL user name but I don't want to lose my huge 'LOL' score.
  • Could we not just replace the spaces with underscores?

It certainly fixes the @ problem.
