Music is a personal taste and linked to age
As a person brought up in the 60s/70s, my choice would be:
1. Pet Sounds (1966).The Beach Boys (or more importantly, Brian Wilson) raised the bar considerably on the sophistication of music in that era.
2.Hot August Night (1971). Brought Neil Diamond to the World Stage.
3.SMiLE. The best album ever (Brian Wilson). So intricate and so complex. Classed as the "lost masterpiece" until belatedly released in 2004.
4. "Bridge Over Troubled Water" Simon and Garfungle.
5. Rubber Soul. The Beatles.

Just popped into my head, should have been in my earlier post -
Cypress Hill - Black Sunday.1 -
Yep bbbm we probably have, although unfortunately I haven't seen a few of those artists, regrettably one was Galaxie 500 - Dean, Damon and Naomi together.
Another, Sillybilly, was the 10,000 Maniacs and Our Time In Eden tops it for me as a few songs were sent on a mix tape and I fell in love with it.
See The Boos graced your list Bbbm and I nearly added Kingsize to mine and 'praps it should have been.
Strangely, my favourite band, The Popguns don't even make the list as although I love them, I only added albums that I love to listen to as a complete piece or two sides. Guess that's the production as well as the music.

These are albums where I really enjoy all or most tracks. As the record industry has admitted, there have been too many filler tracks on too many albums, contributing to their decline
