I sadly enough have seen Bradford City more than Charlton in the past 3/4 seasons, Parky has done a really good job, they generally rely on a Hanson and play kick it to the tall one but it's effective at that level and they really miss Nakhi Wells' pace to go with him to get in behind. Parky is pretty much held in high regard up there, personally I like the fella and wish him all the best3
-
From the highlights, it looked like Bradford were playing out of their skins and fully deserved to win. This is the best of some fantastic results today. Whoever gets them in the draw will not be relishing it0
-
Some very nice finishing for the Bradford goals; they seemed like a really well composed team who played some nice stuff judging by the highlights.
Top work Parky.0 -

Amazing that you have to renew your abuse from a months old thread where you were made to look such a fool.
PS just checked - think you may have mis-remembered.
Even the 9 you claim would suggest 3 early season games, 3 mid and 3 late season.
But thanks for your pontifications from afar.
http://www.foxsports.com.au/football - they have a 'Fantasy' section.
you seemed to come into the thread and call the guy out for his views about early and late season form. thought it odd. now i realise there is a history. one i know NOTHING about.
doesn't seem fair to say he restarted it here, though. that honour seems to be yours.
no offence. no side taking in your wider conflict.
probably better for both of you and the rest of us if you both just let it go1 -

How much petty squabbling do you see in Urumqi every season?..............3 -

Obviously thrilled for Parky but I'm wondering if the big boys are trying to get out of playing cup games?0

Did anyone notice that parky basically told Jose to ***k off when Jose tried to shake his hand at the final whistle and turned his back on him.
Fair play Parky, I like Mourinho but he showed them huge disrespect before the game with his "it would be a disgrace" comments2 -
Just an interesting fact, Chelsea's team that played yesterday cost 121.8 Million.
Bradford's cost £7500 on Hanson, the rest were free transfers. Well done to Parky and it has given me some ammunition to use against my Brother in Law who is a Chelsea season ticket holder and has become far too smug recently.5 -
Might be a case that after his charlton experience , he improved as a manager of Bradford. Was Pardews no.2 for a while...that can't have been good.
That 1st season in league one up till Christmas, he had a decent team that played good football at times .

I think so.
Obviously there have been shocks like non league teams beating top flight teams and the likes of Wimbledon and Wigan winning the cup. But in terms of the gulf between the 2 sides, the fact Chelsea are top of the league, have won every single home game this season, were playing at home and were 2-0 up, this has to be the biggest cup shock ever.

I bet every Charlton fan was pleased with that result yesterday.0

On R5 they mentioned to Parky that Mourinho tried that old trick of offering his hand in injury time before the game was over, and Parky told him politely to do one. But he also said on MOTD that Mourinho came into their dressing room and shook the hand of every player.DA9 said:Did anyone notice that parky basically told Jose to ***k off when Jose tried to shake his hand at the final whistle and turned his back on him.

There was also 7 minutes of injury time. Parky said the 4th official tried to show him how he calculated it, and Parky said he still had no clue. This sort of shit has to be stopped. It's easy. Wire the fourth official's watch to the stadium clock, and when he stops the watch, the clock stops too. So we can all see. It's called transparency.

Prague, it's not the fourth official who decides the amount of added-on time; it is solely down to the referee. The fourth official merely holds up the board after the referee tells him how much time extra is to be played.2

Watch MOTD highlights, this happens at the final whistlePragueAddick said:

I don't see why they can't have someone in the stand recording the time, leave the ref to concentrate on refereeing1

They won it 4-2 regardless. So what.0

Absolutely delighted for him, deserves every plaudit he gets.0

It's all subjective but Sutton and Wrexham were bottom of the tree wins over top opponents. My mind always goes back to Hereford vs Newcastle. There probably are some more going right back in the history of the fa cup.Callumcafc said:What is the greatest Abs?

Parky's biggest test now will be to keep his players' feet on the ground and cement Bradford's place in the play-offs. Like Sheffield Utd, Bradford have turned into a magnificent cup team who are scared of no-one.0
-
It would be so good for football if they go on and win it!
But as you say, promotion would probably be better for the clubs finances.
Wonder what we would want in the same position?0
