I don't think it's fair to dismiss an upset fan so easily. By the same token, I'm not sure these threads are helpful so soon after a defeat. It adds fuel to the "people are overreacting to a run of bad results" fire.12

I just can't understand his 'business model'.
On paper, fair enough - get players in cheaply, build them up, move them on at a profit, repeat. However, surely you need to invest in decent scouting and coaching to make this work?
It seems that the majority of players he has sent us are not going to gain any value as they cannot effectively compete. A team on the slide is not a good shop window. This seems more like an exercise in moving assets offshore as opposed to actually generating any profit.
Either way, it's not entertainment

So what is the result of all the player shenanigans, and the head coach malarkey since we joined the network? That our support is expected whatever the results? I am Guy Luzon's blood brother, I like to win and I don't like to lose, and I expect this much wiser than me network to deliver wins.

While I'd never start a thread about no longer going to games, even if that was a decision I had made (which it isn't), I can see why so many are disillusioned. For me, it's not even that we're losing. People don't support Charlton because they expect us to win every week - that's not what we do.
People support Charlton because it's their local a team, a club we all have close ties with, and a club whose existence was secured in the most unorthodox way by thousands of fans who fought so hard to make it happen.
What we have now is not Charlton. It's one person's play thing, an experiment. I don't recognise my own club any more. I can deal with getting beaten most weeks as long as the players give their all. I struggle to deal with watching the club I've followed for more than two decades transform into a soulless, poisonous outfit with familiar faces seemingly departing on a near-weekly basis. F off Roland, and take your CEO with you. Both hopelessly out of their depth. And people thought Bob was the problem!24 -

Up to u rudders don't blame u , U av paid your money over the years following the team u love, good times and bad ,the way I see it is this , like many other fans results ain't a problem its the way the club is being run , ie a chairman who couldn't give a flying fuck wot the fans want , this club has always had honesty and I feel like yourself this has gone , so I don't blame u fair play given up something u love and have had an affinity with for years must be hard.3

Yea I was and help buy Ronnie Moore. But this club is dying in front of our eyes as Pompey has...and when genuine loyal fans who have followed the club for decades through thick and thin the penny has got to drop rather than silly school boy comments.
