Source?
(why do I bother to ask?)19 -
I'd be quite happy with that. Not really fussed that he turned down the opportunity to come last season.1
-
Ketts reckons there is a chance of a midfielder coming in before Friday. No idea if it is Eagles or not.0
-
Good solid signing if true.0
-
The Valley .. where Eagles dare .. he'd be a decent addition for us so long as he's prepared to give it 100% and not just be here for the wages0
-
Has been playing more like Chris Pigeon over the past few seasons.
OK If looking for a pay packet in line with his form rather than rep.6 -
Can't wait to hear the Covered End sing
"Eagles, Eagles, Eagles"
Awaits flags from people with no sense of humour : - )23 -
Be good backup in place of either Gudmundsson or Bulot as apart from Harriott and Wilson we are weak out wide0
-
He had a decent game against us last season at Bolton, ran their midfield effectively. Word is that he had a major falling out with (the now sacked and at Forest) FreedmanAbsurdistan said:Has been playing more like Chris Pigeon over the past few seasons.

Didn't he turn us down last year? Would have liked him then, would still like him now. More decent players for the squad never hurts. Now we just need that bloody target man0

He scored his only Blackpool goal against us i think.0

Didn't he get a hat trick at the Valley for Man U in the FA youth cup or am I dreaming that?0
-
Think that was Macheda or something like that.Bryan_Kynsie said:Didn't he get a hat trick at the Valley for Man U in the FA youth cup or am I dreaming that?
Edit Think it was another Italian player called Rossi.

Could be a very good signing for us I reckon. He certainly ain't "pony", good experienced player. Its a shame he didn't sign last year, its going to be a tough run in and the more "half decent" bodies we get in can only help us stay in this bloody league.0

Used to be a tank on football manager with assists..... That's all that counts really.3
-
After the way Watt and Igor played on Saturday, I hope they get a bit more time together. That's not to say we shouldn't sign a target man still as having a plan B is always a good idea, but both players seemed to be really enjoying themselves against Brentford. Whether the target man is Eagles remains to be seen.1
-
Eagles is not a target man, he is a wide player but he can play upfront.2
-
As he is a winger, my guess is that he won't be a target man.WestCountryAddick said:After the way Watt and Igor played on Saturday, I hope they get a bit more time together. It might just be that he is training with us to keep fit.1 -
To be honest, you look at a front four of JBG, Bulot, Igor and Watt and if they all play like Saturday, not many defences can handle them. But as soon as they get injured we're back to hoping Harriott is on a good day, or that Church is fed up of the world's lamest practical joke and turns into an actual football player. Eagles covers both wings and up front, seems good business to me.2

Didn't he reject the chance last season to join us on loan?
At the time he hadn't played for Bolton in months0 -
If he on his bike to Sparrows lane, he must be fit as he lives 300 miles away.henrythecat said:
