He was deceived by the agenda? What the f*ck did he think the agenda was?

We're a newly relegated club (though it'd be tough to blame him, let's not forget that we were actually a Premier League club when he took over and it wasn't beyond reality that he could have kept us up - it's only the kind of miracle that one should expect from the reincarnation Himself).

We're financially stable and we're handing him just about the biggest budget in the division. I wonder what the agenda might be? I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't have read; Item 1: Piss money away on third rate players on long contracts to paralyse the club beyond your tenure. Item 2: League One. Item 3: Take the remaining money. Item 4: Deny everything and blame others. Item 5: AOB

He can try and rewrite history all he likes but he made an absolute pig's ear of the job that he did with us and left dignity free, looking like a mercenary arsehole, not a single person left behind had a nice word to say about him and he was completely incapable of accepting responsibility for his own failings.

    I like him.

If Palace don't grab this opportunity to spend some of the Premier League money on the dump that is Selhurst Park then they are stupid beyond belief. With Super Al in charge I suspect that won't be easy. He'll suck the money into average overpaid players and hopefully screw them for years. The mans an arrogant chancer.

I think it's quite funny that the one blot on his managerial copybook is his time at Charlton. And unless he invents a time machine, there's nowt he can do about it.

    Alternatively

I think it's quite funny sad that the one blot on his managerial copybook is his time at Charlton. And unless he we invents a time machine, there's nowt he we can do about it.

Red-carded for spitting at an opponent when he played for us. Sums up his character.

Showed dignity at Newcastle - don't make me LOL. Starting fights with other managers old enough to be drawing their pensions and head butting opposition players.

No you're dead right Super Al, very dignified.

Love the way he modestly takes credit for Lambert, Lallana and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

If you visit the Museum, be sure to check out the introductory manual for new players authored by Pardew. Before reading , please note that the nearest loo is a bit of a schlep.
