I remember his first game at the valley. He fumbled a regulation catch under the crossbar and it went in for a goal. I thought that he was going to be useless after that but he pulled it around brilliantly and I was sorry he left at the end of the season. He was a lot more agile than Elliott and it was obvious that the defence played better with him behind them.5

I'd do the same to be honest. He secures his long term financial future and if Adrian breaks his leg in the summer then he could end up in the first team and then playing in a Euro finals with the Republic.0

I thought he was superb there! Making his full debut away at Anfield couldn't have been easy, and he managed to pull off a few top class saves.
