    I'm hearing £50K upfront.
    Plus.
£100K when he plays 100 Premiership games.
£100K when he plays for Wigan in The Champions League.
£100K when he plays for England.

    I'm here all week

I asume this will be an 'undisclosed' transfer fee.

7+ pages in and still not a shred of evidence about the whole 'unprofessional attitude' that keeps being banded about.

Comes as no surprise though, considering Ben Hamer would come in for exactly the same sort of stick about how he 'loves himself' and has a big ego.....again, based on absolutely nothing other than probably a bit of jealousy.

I couldn't find a Harriott thread but what is the point in this? He's not in the team, he knows we're trying to move him on. He was supportive of KAG when he scored and tweeted him congratulations for his goal. He likes social media, was just innocently putting something up on his Instagram account

Agreed @cabbles we all saw what the great support on Saturday - best I have seen/heard at home for some time. Do people honestly think that twattish comments like that help anyone. The old maxim I was taught is sadly long gone...if you haven't got anything nice to say about someone...say nothing!

Bit harsh, the twitter comment that is.

A silly comment, but if you want to live your life through social media/the media, then you have to expect it.

If he doesn't like it, he should stop posting. I know he shouldn't have to, but he does have the choice.

NB I'm not saying he's complaining, because he isn't as far as I'm aware.

par for the course with some people on social media.

People on faceache calling him a "fake" footballer.

Even if you don't rate him as good enough for Charlton he IS a pro player playing at a level a 100 times better than some spotty Herbert on FB ever will.

When Pope made the mistake on Saturday I had a brief argument with some fans behind me who seemed to take joy in his error... One comment made at me was:

So you feel sorry for him, because he made the mistake you should be annoyed with him?... My response was, of course I feel sorry for him, he's a Charlton player and its our job to support them!!

Callum would benefit from a loan spell, once we've got a bit more strength in depth in the squad, but I still think he could do a job for us at this level.

Why don't we just leave Callum and the Club to decide on this. Some of the comments being made about him make me ashamed of some of my fellow members.
  • Thought he did OK when he came on cannot understand all the negative comments bordering on bullying on here its not good chaps!

It was Callum's run in extra time that led to the corner (at a time when most were probably worried about Hull getting the winner), and it was this corner which ultimately led to our winner, so he did make a contribution on Saturday!

Tomorrow really could be his last chance - he's only on the bench because of injuries, and we still seem to be pursuing Henry.

Last 'last chance' i recall was Simon Francis vs. Preston, which is not a great omen for us, or possibly Callum - but then again look at Francis now...
  • Harriot just needs to score a goal to get him back on track...He always looks like he's missing that extra bit of confidence to try things which comes from having scored...

As one of the few who thought Simon Francis could make it, if played more as a Wing back. i've got to say I don't see a championship player in Calum.
Big mistake, when he used the name Calum Messi ? Why
I know players need confidence in there own ability but that was just asking for trouble. He will never be consistent and you can't live on the 5 goals in two games the season before last. Just like Church how many opportunities is Calum going to be given ?
I thought Calum gave 100% in his Cameo but i have judged him over all of his matches not just 2 or 3.
  • Wyn Grant had it perfectly summed up: "Harriott had a chance to impress, but didn't."
Unless Charlton is able to recruit an enhanced replacement before next Tuesday it would be folly to further deplete the already threadbare resources but Callum is no higher up the pecking order than his performances merit. If a few injuries heal up then the soon to be reopening loan window could be the sensible opportunity for his defenestration. If he then finds a suitor I'm sure the pragmatic 'contract cancelled by mutual consent' avenue can facilitate the furtherance of his career elsewhere.
We nor he can get away from the fact his overall contribution was demonstrated in perfect microcosm within moments of his introduction on Saturday by the sequence of faints and stepovers down the left wing with barely a challenge from his Hull marker seeing the ball run gently over the byline and Callum on his bum.

rather than that, let him go to a club for free but include a 50% sell on

Retweets transfer rumours about himself, bad attitude imo and rather not have him at the club.
