Unfortunately bob our support base appears to be infested with Anti Supporters of the owner and the club, I don't really understand why?
I just assume they must have very unfulfilled lives to keep peddling their negative agendas.

There's an irony in you complaining about the negativity of Charlton fans by constantly insulting Charlton's fan base. Take it easy Greenie, no need to accuse people you don't know of having 'unfulfilled lives' or being a 'waste of air' because they post some stuff on a forum

Not ironic mate, just fed up with the muppets having a constant pop at the club for no reason, and I will continue to defend the club against them, if you don't like that well I really couldn't care less.
Also, just because someone supports the same club as me doesn't mean I am going to like them, most on here post well balanced Interesting thoughts on many subjects, however we are in the process of signing what look some very good and potentially exciting signings yet the negative buggers still criticise the club.
The club or the owner do not deserve such support IMO.

The negative lot are attacking the club for no discernible reason, no matter what the club does or tries to do. If I was to attack the negative lot for no reason then that would be ironic, because it would be the same.
But (and here's the difference) I'm defending the club against these alledged fans with good reason. I'm not being negative against them just because they are there, I'm showing them up for what they are.
So it's not ironic.
Also it's not THE fan base, but SOME of our fan base. Just so you know.

Think the support base falls into three camps, one pro RD (Colin is their mascot), the other end of the scale are the plain angry types who want to just vent and then in the middle is the majority. Most of us swing to and fro, not really sure what to think. I want to believe but at times I think this regime is odd, at best, that doesn't mean I am anti the club though. Forums like this are cathartic and people come here to vent as much as anything else.

If I say I think their transfer dealings to date have been mediocre that doesn't mean I want rid, just that I wish they would learn from past mistakes. We have had too many players like Thuram and Lepoint for every JBG. But I hope they evolve their strategy and we can push on.

We seem to take ages to get players to sign, they are either due for talks, discussing terms in a taxi or on the bloody euro star, we even announce a signing with shirt without even agreeing personal terms and in the meantime we all get excited about players who may or may not arrive. All got a tad ridiculous if you ask me.
