This is for those we came so close to signing but didn't and then they went on to do well.

We missed out on him as we were put under due diligence on the day he was travelling to us as clubs had agreed terms and all that was left was the contract signing.

He was about to sign for us as a teen but saw Johnathan Acworth leering through the sparrows lane fence and it scared him back to Sporting, where he stayed another two years before joining united.
