Henry just scored for Wolves0

i read in there the other day we're looking at signing a johnnie jackson from notts county on loan for left back cover. Don't really rate him myself, another pointless loan signing that won't last.uie2 said:Both the Sunday mirror and the People saying we are about to sign Brad Jones! Why do you keep talking in the third person??Henry Irving said:Henry just scored for Wolves
We know how good you are. Just bloody sign for Charlton will you!
;-)12 -
He can be the new scapegoat . I reckon Colin will like him .1
-
I have an idea ?
It's very radical ?
How about we don't have a scapegoat this season and we get behind all the players, you are allowed to point out their faults but if Guy picks them even like on Saturday when he picked Ceballos for a tough away game when i thought he might wait for a home game to play him in his 1st champ game.
We Trust Luzon now and with his lets try to win every game attitude, back him, whether we win lose or draw. Guy is now in Credit, he should have 100% support from the supporters now.
Leave you with a rumour, the attacking goal scoring midfielder ?
i said about this lad when he was at Gateshead after he was released from Newcastle ?
Marcus Maddison who is only 21 and scored another 2 goals for Peterborough.
they have a great record for bringing players through to play in the Prem or championship.

I thought Makienok is this seasons scapegoat, just nobody has been brave enough to tell him yet. ;-)7

Wolves manager been quoted as saying he doesn't expect any more ins or outs this window.0

In terms of your first idea... I'd like to welcome you to CharltonLife, it appears as though you've never been here before in terms of scapegoatssoapboxsam said:I have an idea ?

Marcus Maddison wouldnt be a bad idea but Peterborough would probably want about £10m for him, I know they want to keep their best players but they've got the most over inflated idea of their players than any other player out there... Aaron McLean / Dwight Gayle / Craig Mackail-Smith were all supposed to light up the Premier League and go on to play for England according to their Chairman after they'd been sold0 - Sponsored links:

You could say that about any player at any team. If someone offered us £25 million for Tony Watt he'd be gonecolin1961 said:

If we do sign Henry I can't see it happening until after we play Wolves on the 29th, it will properly be a deadline job.
I bet he signs tomorrow now2 -
Now looks like Jones might be going Bradford City .0
-
Twitter romours that Jones has turned up down and is going to Bradford. Apparently not happy about being a bench warmer.0
-
Gorgeous George coming back has probably knocked our wage budget a bit. Of all the positions I'd sign now it'd be a RB/CB cover. With Ceballos and Cousins we have cover on the wings at a push, and Pope has done well enough. Haven't heard any rumours for the defense position though0
-
Odd time to start worrying about that. You would have thought negotiations would open with 'we have two other good keepers, you're here because one has a gammy shoulder'.Clem_Snide said:Twitter romours that Jones has turned up down and is going to Bradford. Or maybe now he's seen and trained with Pope he's not as sure he can get ahead of him?Garrymanilow said:

He signed a 1 year deal with Bradford - hardly "long term" that onecolin1961 said:
Most likely a longer contract ... going to be difficult to get someone like Jones on s short term deal .Clem_Snide said:Twitter romours that Jones has turned up down and is going to Bradford. Apparently not happy about being a bench warmer.

Enjoying our last few hours shopping in #Belgium quick coffee break.
MUST mean we are signing a player in Belgium as the player liaison officer is out there and ready to drive the player back to SE7.
There is no other possible explanation : - )1 -

Who cares about brad Jones .Nick Pope kept us from getting no points at Derby. In Pope we trust .8
-
And think about the boost to Popey's confidence now. Luzon has decided against getting another keeper in, I would assume based on the performances of NP over the first three games.
Luzon trusts Pope with the gloves and so should we.7 -
Re Henry, we can hopefully get him for free next summer. It is not as if we are desperate for a right winger at the moment.1

Charlton pass up chance to sign ex-Reds stopper as he joins Bradford
Monday, 17 August 2015 By Richard Cawley
Brad Jones
Brad Jones
BRAD Jones has signed a one-year contract with Bradford - after Charlton passed on the opportunity to sign the former Liverpool goalkeeper.
The Australian had been training with the Addicks last week with the view to joining the Championship club.
But the South London Press has been told that Charlton decided in the end not to eat into their budget with a deal for Jones as he would be third-choice when Stephen Henderson recovers from shoulder surgery.
The Addicks have been in the market for a temporary addition ever since Henderson had his op and had also looked at Stuart Taylor.1 -
I heard last week that Jussi Jaskeleinen was training with Bradford. Would he be decent cover ?0
