    in 1993-4 season we wore squad numbers based alphabetically.
    so,, number 1 was stuart balmer.
    what others can people remember without googling.
    i think i remember gritty was 7 and pardew 15. and at a guess bolder 2.

    this was the season we played man utd in the qf of the cup. with that in mind (and i'm pretty sure gritty was 7) kim grant must've been 6?

    i think we'll have to wait for len glover or henry confirmation/correction on a few of these.

    I remember getting my name on the back of my shirt with "12".

    Everyone said "why have you got 12 on your back? Are you a substitute?"

    Nobody understood squad numbers.
