What on earth?

Dominated by Preston North End...

I listened all the way and we sounded so disoriented... Views of those there will be truly appreciated.

Keep thinking of better ways i could have spent the evening... I could have stayed at home, sat in a chair, and stared at a wall, for example.

I can't believe how many of us are eating our words about tonight.

I really thought we had a chance for 3 points tonight, I'm actually disgusted at what I've listened to tonight.

Well, we're objectively getting worse. First time we haven't scored at home all season and the line ups are getting more and more erratic. We've blown a chance to stop the rot against a weak team in this league. The draw against Fulham wasn't good enough really, as entertaining as it was, so to have dropped another six points means we're right in it now. We might be getting to the point where having all our players back fighting fit doesn't make a difference because confidence and morale are so low. Things look bleak.

Preston NE first win since August.

    Utter cack!
  • I think Luzon will be sacked in the morning (Although I'm not sure that's the answer as we'll only get another unheard of foreigner)

That's the worst performance I can remember for a very long time

    Shocking result

Maybe the owner / advisors need to look at the strategy they are using, admit that they may have got it wrong and try a different approach ?

a lot on here wouldn't listen on sat when we said we were poor...."oh, but we are playing Reading, top side, in form, cant go attacking them you know"

so, whats the excuse this time ???

There is only one. Poor manager

get rid NOW, otherwise on sat there will be a riot if there is a similar result.

I don't know how other clubs do it re ffp, but Rd has to do the same & strengthen the side NOW. Leave it to January & it will be far too late.

Only saving grace is that there are 34 leagues games left. oodles of time if you start now.

There isn't a word in the dictionary to describe that performance
  • @TelMc32 said to before the game they had won in nine and we hadn't in seven. My answer was they will be one team who hasn't won in eight after the game.

Shell shocked on how bad it was.

That was really, really bad. Outplayed from the first minute. We had, what, one shot on target all game? To think I was worried about Makeniok being the weak link. He did more in 30 mins than the rest of the team put together.

What was with booing Ba when he got substituted? Had a poor game like everyone else but at least he put some effort in. Thought that was disgraceful.

Pope doesn't inspire confidence. Solly has gone backwards. Bergdich.... shocking. Has a real feel of a relegation side at the moment.

What worries me is, even when everyone is fit we have no attacking central midfielder, no decent left-sided midfielder or a goalscorer.

Got home before the end of the game, my mate who gave me his ticket tonight text me to apologise, he is not forgiven.
  • In the name of God go! And get Curbishley back as they should have done last time...

There will be one on urbandictionary I'm sure...

p.s. say it week in week out since he signed how is Bergdich a footballer? Positionally the worst I have ever seen, defensively as bad - he's outdone all flops that have signed for this club, he is king of them.

Cant wait for @colin1961 to come on here telling everyone what a grand job RD/KM are doing and this is only a short 'blip'....yes a nice pitch (not many players in our squad who can play on it), yes nice seats (no fans to fill them), yes new training ground (no new players to attract as we tumble down the division and maybe leagues).....Nice one RD - what a shite plan!!
I'm so annoyed tonight that I just want someone up top to take responsibility and say its my fault i screwed up and I'm off. Never ever going to happen...and people will still support this regime.....get real for gods sake...I can take losing....I cant take no commitment or pride or battling qualities...the fucking U21's would at least show fight.....sod off RD your not wanted here...and take KM with you (and GL)

Home in Welling before the final whistle blew...words can't express just how bad that was tonight, not seen much worse in 35 years, feel sorry for Luzon as he can only work with the tools he have and I'm pretty sure that if most of the bench were actually fit tonight then they'd have played.

Where to begin, 3 left backs starting, one on the right wing...

Fingers crossed Henderson is back Saturday cause pope needs to be taken out the firing line, both full backs were poor, Solly is a shadow of the player we know he is.

Ba was terrible as was Sarr...THD not ready yet and KAG isn't a championship forward (not their fault though), Watt and Cousins tried hard but had nothing else out there and Diarra did ok for me. Big Mak needs to come straight back in.

The bloke from Everton is a total waste of space

I'll be back Saturday cause I love he club and whilst I have he hump now I'm still convinced we'll turn things round and finish just under mid table come the end of the season....really hope Guy is given decent backing and that we can get a far stronger side out come sat

    Bumpy ride though...

Quite up for a riot, might be what's needed. After all he seems to care more about seats than footballers. I am dreading Saturday, what a horrible way to describe the club I love.

As if by magic.......I wasn't there because my club, the club that I have supported for over 40 years is an absolute shit cart...,...happy to help.

Firstly, I don't slate the team usually, but that was f*****g awful. Worst I've seen.

No commitment, no confidence, no shape, no leadership. Shambles.

I know we have a depleted squad, but ffs put a shift in as a team. Individual pressing will never work. Playing two defensive midfielders, and two full backs as a midfield will never work. Trying to win a game, when you have no cohesion will never work.

However, no matter how bad a game a player has (Ba in this instance), it is awful to have half the ground boo him off the pitch. Yes he was bad, was he the only one?

Not sure what else to say, but that was utter dross.

I've been ill today so only just checked the result. Wow. I feel worse.
What a mess. This is what happens when your overall ambition is to only ever finish mid table, but to keep improving the burger bars.
If Luzon gets the boot then the whole thing becomes a circus.
The only way I can see that working is if they put Sir Johnny of Jackson in charge. But they won't.
What a weird club we are at the moment.
  • They got their wish...... we need ours.

Can't see any solution beyond doing a Southampton / Palace/ Bournemouth : enter administration, clear the decks on debt ,take the ten point hit whilst already in the relegation zone and heading out of the league and return with a bounce back promotion with new owners and new investment .Nothing else is working : FFP,playing kids from the academy ,the network ,the revolving door for head coaches and a poor budget .its all so utterly shit ,boring and depressing and has been so for far too long .
