Typical Charlton Fans (according to yougov).

edited October 2015 in General Charlton
Just watched a repeat of Dave Gormans show in market research. As a result searched YouGov website for a profile of the typical CAFC fan based on 128 respondents. We are apparantly typically:-

Male aged 18-24, slightly right wing, typically an accountant with surplus income of £500-999 pm.
We read the Times/Private eye, watch TV for 1-5 hrs pw.
Favorite film - Willie Wonka, Fav TV - Game of Thrones.
Fav Music - Jessie J???, Fav Celeb - Ricky Gervais.
Fav Brands - Samsung & Vodafone
Fav Shops- Tesco,
Fav Clothes - Marks &Sparks
Banks at Halifax
Fav Car - Kia
Pet - Cat
Fav other sport - Cricket
Personality - Organised / Independant / Consistent
Occasionally - Oversensative / Restless / Needy

I have to say I havent seen a tremendous number of Kias parked around the Valley, and fans wearing M&S Cricket pads, using a Samsung on Vodafone whistling the latest Jessie J tune and reading the Times. I might check out Millwall ( bound to be left wing, Guardian reading, Florists).

    That's more like it.
  • Absolute bullocks.

No mention of trainspotting or in-fighting.
  • We must have some precocious fans if some of those 18-24 year olds are accountants! What is it 4 years hard slog after a degree to get qualified?
Apart from quite liking cricket, I fail dismally at all those norms!

It's a little known fact that the Jack Daniels distillery still has a REO Speed Wagon fire truck.
  • How many football going 15-24 year olds read private eye ?

Agreed. I qualified when I was 27 and it took me over five years.

    Brand... Samsung / Adidas
    Shop... Asda
