Plus a further £35m cut to sports rights. But, folks, the good news is that Strictly is safe:

Shame I enjoy their sports coverage over other broadcasters.
BBC can't really compete now for anything half popular sports wise.0 -
To be honest never used the red button anyway... Took about 10-mins to load and you'd miss half of the programme that you'd be trying to watch at the same time3

Getting rid of what sport they have left it seems like.BigRedEvil said:Shame I enjoy their sports coverage over other broadcasters.

With the internet I'm not sure I've ever used the red button on the BBC. However your comment about Strictly is a little disingenuous. Apart from the huge ratings it achieves in the UK (for god knows why) it (the format of the show) has been exported and makes the BBC an absolute fortune!Addick Addict said:Plus a further £35m cut to sports rights. You need to avoid comparing revenue streams with costs. It's like suggesting that we are not going to keep Polish Pete on our books but it's ok becasue we are going to keep sign up Jordan Cousins and keep the Academy open.0 -
The BBC might benefit from the licence fee but that £145 a year is insignificant compared to the money Sky make from a full Sports package of £840 a year.Super_horns said:

It's no wonder that Sky are taking the rights to all the top sporting events it is?0 -
Most amusing thing about him really was his real name Aaron Chwatt... Love Wikipedia!cafcfan said:
