Charlton 14/1 to finish top half

I'm not much of a gambler but after watching the QPR game I was amazed to see we was 5/2 to finish top half.
I thought the bookies haven't got a clue and I thought I'd show them.
After a little drink that evening I put £10 on us to be promoted at 40/1 and then covered it with a £40 bet to finish top half to cover my bet.
How could I lose!
Well things have changed slightly.
We are now 14/1 to finish top half!
Anyone fancy those odds?
Are there many people like me out there regretting there pre season bets this early?

    Don't think we will go down but top half looks a very long way away.
    I'll steer clear of any bets on us this season.

    I got 3/1 and put more than you on the top half finish.
    Didn't bother with the promoted odds as hadn't had as much to drink as you !
    It could have been worse and taken the Spreed bet of 60 points reached.
    At least we know what our losses will be.
    14/1 for top half ?
    May do another £10. Where's the straight jacket.

    Wait till after Saturday's game, the odds will be a lot better.

    14/1 on us to finish top half are terrible odds, I think we'll stay up but top half looks a million miles away.

    Currently Brentford are 12th (top half) only 7 points ahead of us.

    16/1 now after last nights brentford v qpr game. We'll probably be 20/1 at 5pm after the boro game!

    Worth a cheeky fiver at those prices. With Hendo & big mak back + kashi and vetokele still to return, you never know!

    As you say with players returning, the club speaking to the fans, an interim continental manager and an experience british manager waiting in the wings I'm going top 6 at 150/1.

    Didn't want to admit to it but stuck a tenner on at 25/1 last night for top half finish.
    Might have got a bit carried away.

    We would need a lot of luck with injuries - 25-1 seems about right to me.

    I did Charlton top half and top 6, before the season started.

    Just cashed out the top 6 bet & pretty much got my stake back :-)
