Best use I can think of for the sofa involves me, Katrien, a bottle of wine and the valley floodlights turned down low.

Just whack her over the head with it, forget the low lights.. Nobody is going to grass you up.

I was ambivalent to the sofa at first. But as this season has dragged on, I have come to loathe it as a symbol of Meire's complete incompetence. Can we please persuade everyone to have nothing to do with this wretched item - except maybe for torching it ;-)

I understood that the sofa had been jettisoned some weeks ago. Is it still here and if so, why?

    Blood on the sofa?
  • Wouldn't it be great if we could slip some "infiltrators" onto the sofa and they held up "Meire out" signs every time the ball came near them. (OK I know they would soon be shown the door but it would be fun for a time)

I wonder if we could get Fraeye to sit on the sofa and then let the people supposed to be on the sofa manage the side? I am sure he would appreciate the respite from the constant abuse.

For that reason, I wouldn't mind winning it. Good opportunity to make point, and then walk off.

Although I did spot that even the sofa fans on Saturday had given up with about 5mins to go. It look good, empty. Sums up the whole stupid idea.

Maybe we should register the sofa as a player, Diarra can control it from the sideline as if it were a drone and we can be known as the club who parks the dogs in front of goal.

If we can add up thrusters as well as coasters, we have a premiership winning side. (Maybe I've been watching too much iron man with the boy over the holidays)
