That's really sad. He was an excellent broadcaster who brought a bit of lighthearted fun into millions of people's morning commute into work, helped raise millions of pounds for children and seemed genuinely loved and respected by his peers. Used to love his "Janet & John" stories and he'll be massively missed by his TOG's.

He used to do fundraising events for Cystic Fibrosis Trust when my dad was working for them. Met him on a number of occasions when he partnered him at golfing events. Funny, funny man. RIP1
