Getting the dog ready for Crufts tomorrow. Rather than a mad rush after the match it's a pleasant afternoon followed by a nice curry at the local restaurant. The only downside is that I can't get to the protest in Sunday.

Sitting in Wetherspoons Victoria waiting to get a train down to Sevenoaks for a date (yes Katrien will be hearing about it on Monday). She's already sending me details about the last train home. FFS

Two ways to look at that cabbies.
Ok you might not get any tonight, but a woman who knows a train timetable - got to be an Addick, right? ;-)
Patient build up play on this one, mate, a couple of clever balls and you could still slot home a winner :-) good luck :-)

Well call me wierd, but I'm off to a Shropshire market town with a bag of class A's and the phone number of the three finest ladies money can buy.
So I'll probably end up in some dismal stinking flat roofed pub on my own.
    Again.

Walking 2.5 miles from Hawley to Dartford Train station in cycling shoes with cleats. :-( Schoolboy error and forgot to take a spare inner tube and sods law dictated that I got a slow puncture.

Been out and viewed a couple of houses this morning, spot of lunch then home and watched the rugby. Have a touch of man flu so it will be a movie and an early night tonight.
  • Stripping out the bedroom of furniture and carpet and screwing down every other floorboard to stop the feckers squeaking.

Am I reading this right BA - you buried your kids under the floorboards?

Out watching the lad at welling this morning turning out for the 6 and under teams in a tournament. 19 kids out for welling. It finished late around 1pm.

Back to blackheath for lunch and then bought firewood and coal and have watched England v Wales rugby (nervy finish) and now finished off tea. Everton v Chelsea on the tv but neither of us that Interested.

Made that mistake before. Fortunately for you Hawley to Dartford is a nicer walk than Woolwich to Welling via Plumstead!

Could have been much worse. Noticed the tyre going down on the hill which leads down to Eynsford. Stopped and pumped it up and got to Farningham before stopping and pumping it up again. 3 more stops at Horton Kirby, Sutton at Hone and just outside Hawley and I succomed to the inevitable.

Should have given up and got on the train at Farningham road, but was convinced there was a bike shop not much further than Hawley. There was, it just happens to have closed down!

Cracking on with giving the grass its first cut of the year and preparing my new vegetable garden.

Very concerned this is one of the most exciting things in my life at the moment!

    Did exactly the same.

It was such perfect weather down here in Sunny Cornwall .... even had lunch in the garden.

    Who needs bloody football?
