The cheaper tickets are in the lower tier, including behind the goal. It's the same £32.50/£35 in the upper tier behind the goals. They actually charge £40 for block 0 (£37.50 in advance) which I think we've been allocated in the past when we've travelled in sufficient numbers and this isn't even their most expensive match pricing - for a "grade A" match away fans are changed £37 rising to £39.50 and those in block O and similar are asked to pay £43 rising to £45.50. That's £15.50 more than next season's Premier League limit, I think!killerandflash said:

Was looking at this game as a standard 3-0 loss opportunity, but an Ipswich-supporting mate was saying today that we've got a chance as Daryl Murphy is doubtful and without him they're a bit blunt up front. Also said that they've not been playing well recently.
Ordinarily a 'settle for a draw' game all-over for us, but perhaps not unwinnable.0 -

I imagine there will be pressure on the FL to adopt a similar policy to that of the PL (even allowing for the vastly smaller TV money). It'll look ridiculous if Championship away fans are paying more to visit Ipswich than PL away fans to visit Chelsea or Arsenal.Airman Brown said:

East Anglia has smattering of professional clubs, most of which are at least 50-60 miles apart. As such you get a club like Ipswich with a huge catchment area practically to themselves (apologies to any Colchester fans reading), and so they take advantage of that by charging a lot more then a similar size club in London could get away with.
Still nearly 35 rips for a 2nd tier football game is robbery.0 -

Good point - I think the draw at Forest hit us hard at the beginning of the season because they were allowed by the ref to set out to injure us to stop us. Despite the league positions, we have a much more skillful side- they are a side set up to a blueprint. If you are beating them they will not hesitate to kick you! Makienok shouldn't be anywhere near this fixture!! He was utterly embarrassed at The Valley when they came to town! Either he wins the ball and the ref blows his whistle for a foul; or the ball comes straight back and our defence is put under pressure again.
Play Mak and Sanongol together upfront and it would work, otherwise save him for a late substitution1 -
