Intriguing ...sounds good to me0

But what if it's home to Millwank?0
-
There's 3 months until then. Need action planned in the meantime. Meire will still turn up at the Valley (even if not to work properly), Belgium visits to RD's home etc.1
-
Good plan. Katrien will probably be thinking that the worst is now over. She needs to be disabused of that idea.2
-
Think we'll start next season with a points deduction so things really can't get much worse. It's no longer about football just a battle between the fans and the owner.1
-
Quite possibly the only reason That would mean I attend the game.7

No we won't.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Think we'll start next season with a points deduction .

Calm down0

Plenty of time during the next 3 months to get some rational thought behind this. Breathe3

why? There is no reason why we would do.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Think we'll start next season with a points deduction so things really can't get much worse. It's no longer about football just a battle between the fans and the owner.

let's wait till the fixtures come out and pick a home game after a month or two and designate this the PROTEST game. Plenty of time to work out the next strategy.2

Sound like a well thought out plan !Addickted2TheReds said:Some CARD bods are in the pub and we've come to the conclusion that the first home game of next season, if we're still owned by Roland, will not take place.
We'll abandon it.

Why? For throwing a few bog rolls and flares on the pitch?hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Think we'll start next season with a points deduction so things really can't get much worse. It's no longer about football just a battle between the fans and the owner.

The only problem with preparing well in advance to get the first game abandoned is that the club will be prepared for it and take preventative action.
It has to be a random game, with notification at 12pm like the other CARD protests.
Either that, or make it an inside job.1 -

there is going to be so few in the ground next season you can probably shout across to your fellow protester in the next stand on how and when to invade the pitch and get it abandoned.
Good luck with that..2 -
We need one of those far east bookie gangs to blow our floodlights out one Tuesday evening!!0

Think we should really just see what happens in the summer first. None of us want to be in League One but getting games abandoned won't get us back into The Championship, more likely hasten a drop down to League Two especially if points deductions come into play.
I realise people see it as a battle with the owner but what if, just what if we do get Wilder in as well as a squad with some decent British players and look like having a realistic chance of bouncing back would we be willing to give it a fair go or still look to abandon a game so early on?21 -
And pigs might fly
I'd rather have Phil Parkinson back than Wilder personally, not that it makes any difference to me. Until the worms are gone the ship cannot be rebuilt6 -
@MartinCAFC it doesn't make any difference, they have to go and the protests will continue until they do. Anyone that thinks they have the will or the ability to change tact are deluded. Fans continuing to work with them should stop they are aiding and abetting the destruction of Charlton.MartinCAFC said:Think we should really just see what happens in the summer first. I can't help but wonder if this idea came about after a couple of beers. I have a rule (that I regularly break) that I shouldn't make any significant, particularly financial, decisions when drinking.
I can't tell you how much $hit I have bought off eBay while a 'little drunk'.
Now that it has been announced it is possible that some of those associated with CARD will wish they'd waiting until the next day to make such a bold statement. Maybe I'm wrong but I suspect that the security presence today will look like a school trip compared to what they will put on if it looks like we intend to follow through on the threat.2 -
Roland Duchatelet and his band of incompetents that run our football club are the enemy of everything that Charlton is and will be again in the future. There is no future for them here. It may well be a long slog but we will not stop protesting.MartinCAFC said:Think we should really just see what happens in the summer first. We will continue to up the protests until he goes. And when he does we will have the biggest fucking street party you've ever seen.
There will be no collaboration with them now or in the future. Wilder/decent players or not - Roland Duchatelet is not welcome at this football club.
We will undoubtedly win more matches next year but I do not care - the only thing that matters is forcing the end of this incompetent, clueless and harmful administration.

Hahaha glad I'm not the only I one who's bought crap drunk off eBay then stand there scratching my head when it gets delivered saying I haven't bought anything.1
