Welcome young man and all the VERY best ... BUT .. he's one for the future AND was only used as a sub for the kids' team at the end of the season .. we need hardened and experienced players NOW as well as stocking the nursery for blooms expected in 3 or 4 years time

Born in May 2000 according to a couple of web sites, 18 years old according to Charlton. Maybe it should be age undisclosed as well as fee!!

Oh Louis Yanfam runs down the wing for me (and if he's got any sense he'll keep on running down the tunnel, out the ground and far far away.

Looked very good in the play-off final vs Sheff U. In the Harriot/Lookman mould of being small but quick and with lots of tricks. Potential to have an impact on the first team next season, I would say, based on that single time I've seen him play.

As always for players of his ilk, the test will be if he can continue to show his skills AND deliver final product while being kicked about by wily old defenders in the senior team.

We'll soon knock that out of him.

Gutted, was looking forward to adding him to the squad. Have you downloaded the latest updates? Maybe he'll pop up for Stevenage if they know we're after him

Struggle to reconcile how our youth scouting network seems to function so successfully in comparison to the car crash that is the senior scouting "system"

Of course I can Google the lad, but like 99% of us, I have no idea who this young man is. Roland Out!

The other 1% that went to the U18 play off game will know that he appears to be a very promising young player. Roland out!

    Who signed him?

No manager. No director of football. Head scout only joined yesterday.

Because one has been left almost untouched by the regime and the other has relied on Karel and his laptop mates

Sorry, can't get excited about a young signing who has clearly been bought for profit and will not feature for any length of time in our first team. Good luck to him however.

Don't take this comment as any defence of the regime but I've been attending The Valley since 1961 and every single player we've ever bought has been bought with a profit in mind. The exception is one or two old boys brought in to fulfill a certain role.

It's how clubs outside the top elite survive.

If Yamfam is any good I would be disapointed if we weren't scouting him. Jumping the gun but if in a couple of years we can sell him for £6 million then all the better. Would be great to hold on to all our talent but I'm afraid that's unlikely to ever be the case.
