15 degrees and pissing down in Lancashire today. Right on track for that Hottest Summer For 100 Years then.

That sounds pretty decent for Lancashire so make the most of it.

Bloke on the TV just now said that it's basically going to rain until Christmas but will be dry that week...he did say it will stop raining for a couple of weeks in July but that it won't be hot...

It'll probably piss down all summer now.

Like it did a few years ago (2012?). The water authorities kept warning of a drought and then it pissed down all summer long, but they still maintained we were at risk of a drought.

I remember someone at the time on a radio phone in said
"This is the wettest drought since records began".

Still, when you're palace I would think you're just happy to touch something "wet" that isn't your own bedsheets.

Strangely, he's married a succession of women. Even more strangely, they (so far) have all been called Gill. I suppose it cuts down on the prospects of confusion at inopportune moments.....

Apart from a few days rain, a week or so ago, it has been a nice warm summer up north so far. Enjoying it while it lasts.

Wow, the Express called it. They also predicted the end of days and the second coming. I am planning my escape from planet earth.
