Also, Bairstow should be at 4 or 5. How he isn't is baffling

Game on? Needs an England middle-order player to bat properly for that

I meant that England are in a real contest, and can't just rely on Cook to bat them into a lead

And the lower middle (Bairstow, Moeen, Woakes) will either get out OR score lots of runs, and quickly

In other news. My 50p per cup deposit for gin turned into a £4 refund for 2 cups. #winning

Snail gone. He is just not good enough.

Wow, you are all so keen to jump on a man who has a Test average of 47 over 15 tests - its his first innings back in the team - give him a chance ffs.

Yasir Shah showing he can do it away from the UAE, a major talent, it's good to see another top class spinner in action after a bit of a dry period recently

Is 300 or so attainable for England do you think?

Shah's got under the skin of this England team. I think they already know that they're beaten. You've got to love a talent like that even if he's playing for the opposition.

Well history says not. However, it's been a strange game, because I can't see much in the wicket to trouble batsman, apart from the odd low ball.

There's little pace, bounce, swing, movement or spin. It's a bit of mystery to me why the scores are so low.

But like I say history says we won't do it, so we need to get the last 2 wickets for less than 20 and pray.

You can't blame the England bowlers, they did their job today, it's the frailness of the England batting that's the main issue.

Something I'll no doubt see at close hand, as I'm going tomorrow!

Take your sun hat & sun cream, like I say it was absolutely scorchio.

I reckon Yasir will spin us out & we'll lose either today or tomorrow by about 50 runs if they don't get many more today.

    215 All Out

We have a decent chance to win. I didn't expect us to get them out for only 1 run.

Game on I think, England might just do it, but it's 50/50 for me.
