Well that was quick. Game on. Could be interesting this. Wots the protrusion under Woakse's shirt? Just above his shoulder blades? Some sort of monitor?

Only lasted 2.1 overs this morning. England 283 to win

    215 All Out

We have a decent chance to win. I didn't expect us to get them out for only 1 run.

Game on I think, England might just do it, but it's 50/50 for me.

England are a one in five shot imo

This should make for a cracking game. I don't fancy the bottom half of our batting to put on more than a hundred against Shah and co so its all about how our top order perform.

He might do and take all day about it leaving Root etc to play around him.

I will give money to the upbeats if the snail gets over 50.

You ought to have a small bet on him to do so.

    Root you dick.

    47-3
  • Poor shot that. To stand any chance, Ballance and Vince need to build a partnership.

Hardly a partnership to inspire any confidence.
  • It is a shame that KP is on a golf course somewhere.

Ballance showed at the start of his test career that he can bat, even if it a slowish pce. At the moment we need him to hang around, with little need for him to score quickly.

Ideal time for Vince to prove to the selectors he has what it takes at test level.

When you watch Yasir Shah spinning the ball it just reinforces how mediocre an option Moeen is.

Totally agree. I would like to see Rashid given a go at some point in this series.

Rashid bowls some great deliveries but he usually chucks a boundary ball in every over. I'd still give him a chance but I wouldnt be confident in him either.

Thats an issue with wrist spinners though. He needs to be given a bit of time at test cricket level.

Rashid doesnt have 'it'. Much rather we start looking at the good English leggies coming through - Crane at Hants,Parkinson at Lancs for example.

I'd give him ago. We need a genuine wicket taking threat more than we need an elegant number 8 at the moment.

We need a spinner like Rashid who is capable of taking wickets. My eleven for the next test.
Cook, Hales, Root, Vince, Bairstow, Stokes, Woakes, Rashid, Broad, Ball Anderson

Very poor shot from Vince. There is a difference between positive and reckless.
