Squad numbers 16/17

I will start with apologising to those who have opened this tread with interest...

With 5 days to go until the start of the season, we are still without squad numbers. I know we don't have much of a squad but it is more evidence of the incompetence from those running our club.

Any idea when these will be released or have they actually been released and I've missed them?

    I know that Norwich and Wolves haven't announced theirs yet either. Or Barnet or Stevenage. Don't worry about it. It's not an unusual one to leave it until the eve before announcing

    We've not having squad numbers this year.

    They've been loaned out to help balance the books.

    Quite a lot of teams haven't announced them yet. If there is lots of gaps when we do then it'll show what or where we are trying to strengthen.

    Then again, if Phillips is 1, Konsa 2, Muldoon 8, KAG 10 etc then we're probably in the shit.

    I make that 12 players from last years 32. 2 are long term injuries and one of them was our 3rd choice keeper. We've had 4 new additions. That's shit.

    What's the bets they'll announce them today and leave out a few 'important' numbers. 1,5,7,11 etc.

    Despite being injured I'd be surprised if Kashi and Diarra dont get numbers, if either dont then dont expect to see them playing next season (similar to last season with Franck Moussa as he wasnt given a number at first)

    Jorge Teixeira I see being given a token Squad Number like when Rob Elliot was still with us

    Wonder if its a genuine plan for the club to try and sign Declan Rudd and one other (like Jason Pearce) and at the same time for the story to be: Declan Rudd joins on a year long loan and will wear the No.1 shirt this season, whilst Jason Pearce will take the No.6 shirt... see the rest of the Squad Numbers which have just been released; here

    Took 50 because 5 is taken by Bauer, so unless he takes 15 then I'd imagine he'll take 50 again

    I know, but as he's been injured I don't think he'll get one yet.

    You'd expect Solly to be number 2, Lennon to become number 6 etc if it were simply down to getting the lowest numbers, but many of them have favourite numbers or like to keep the number they debuted with.

    Apparently Zlatan has a clause in his contract that states he must always be number 9, something with pissed Martial off as he had to swap to 11 and Januzaj had to move to 15.

    Considering they can't seem to plan an actual transfer window, I think that would be a stage of elaborate beyond their thinking capacity
