Anybody who remembers the popular TV series Budgie from the 70's, this was the theme song composed by Ray Davies of the Kinks, but not officially released by them at the time.
It evokes my own memories of Soho at the time; vibrant, full of life and peopled by chancers, crooks, prossies, tourists, the sordid, the desperate and the lonely.
