    I've been going since about 68/69 and held a S/T since 72/73 & this is as bad as we've been in my lifetime.

    The Valley is like a funeral. I can't believe there were more than 5,000 there tonight.

    Let's have the fans at least continue the fight.

    Let's have you all back. We're not going up so what does it matter ?

    Abandon the games, whatever.

    Let's just force them out.

    We've won 1 home game in 5, without a dissenting voice, so if anyone dares say that the protests are detrimental to the team, then I say here and now, rubbish.

    We won more home games when we were protesting. Fact.

    I'm getting itchy feet not being at The Valley, and also feel as though I'm not doing anything for the fight.

    On the other hand, I can't help but think the loudest protest is an empty ground. Knowing that they don't have the satisfaction of my £20 is also a big thing. I can't help but think that attending is essentially paying them, for the privilege of papering up the cracks of an empty ground for them.

    No judgement on those who attend though, I understand everyone has their own opinions and reasons. I just want the Belgians out asap, and can't see the current situation being sustainable for long.

    The club told us there were 8000+. And, as we know, the club never lies.

    Even so, I really would suggest that Target20K is rebranded as Target10K fairly soon.

    CARD could not have asked for better timing and results in the lead up for Football For a Fiver.

    If they can mobilise quickly (surely this game was earmarked if we were performing like we are) then they will have far more people onside than not and get people to turn up and participate.

    If a few thousand return to protest, we won't be giving them money, because the gate revenue will in the main, be spent on security costs.

    Douchebag won't care....we're only 1.5% of his wealth so we're totally insignificant. We're not even the duct tape under his shoe. Take the protests to something he cares about.

    saying that i will be taking my 4 boys on saturday and they will be learning more protest songs hopefully

    People were moaning that on Saturday at Oxford the anti regime singing was effecting the team's performance.

    Well tonight, I've heard a better atmosphere at a funeral, with no anti songs and the team was 5 times better on Saturday.

    Won't be there v Rochdale, if it's goes bent again like the end of last season, then good luck and best wishes to you all

    If CARD have no supplies it doesn't take too much imagination for ammo. A pair of rolled up old socks will do, as good as any stress balls.

    Best atmospheres I was part of last season were all protest related. I remember the spontaneous chants of "Stand up, if you want them out", and watching it catch on around the crowd.

    I remember what seemed like the entire away stand at Fulham chanting "Hey Roland, Ohhh Ah...". Or the early post-match protests which seemed to be continuous chanting at a brick wall.

    On the contrary, those times I sat in areas where the protesting was frowned upon all I heard was individuals bickering about the protesting and our own players being dug out.

    We demonstrated multiple times last season that the team got better results with a vocal crowd, even when the vocals were aimed at The Regime. Those who claim that mono-colour clothing and anti-regime songs affect the players need to get a grip to be quite frank. As AFKA pointed out on Twitter, we sing about saying goodbye to a frigging horse FFS - that's not getting behind the team either.

    To be entirely honest, my only concern from protesting in the ground is the reception from some of the utter bellends I've seen. Those are the ones holding our club back at this point in time, those are the ones who will turn this situation in to something dangerous, and they are the ones that should hang their heads in shame when they look around at an empty Valley playing matches against the likes of Fleetwood.

    Statement tomorrow clearly stating intent to protests and the club will be squirming, as said above, the measly money spent on a £5 ticket will be spent on the blue jackets. The majority of fans wanted a month or so to see how we'd do and I think we've all seen enough. The pressure needs to be turned up again tenfold.

    No, not only does dog shit smell but it's mucky and dangerous which can cause blindness and would compramise fan safety.

    The sad thing is neither will happen, if we all turned up mayhem would not take place and the Valley would not go mental. If the boycotters keep it up you will still get the hard core of 5k going to each home game.
