I surely wasn't the only one who was glad to see the back of Chris Powell??? Boring Boring Boring, never saw him play as he was a bit before my time but his management skills were poor (And we all know that really)...

We're you too young to see us walk league one or finish 9th in the Championship under boring Powell.
And even if you don't rate him he's six managers back now.


Secondly, why the hate for Roland?? I mean to have that much money and influence in his life he clearly isn't stupid?? why is it bad if he is a businessman?? That's Great!! It means that he will be licking his lips at the idea of that Premier Leauge Money!! GIVE HIM TIME! Hes playing the long game and I can see that but others don't seem to be able too.

But he's not taking us to the Premiership is he.

In Summary...Why the hate? Lets get behind the team, lets get behind Roland and lets give Katrien a break. Shes trying her best and yes some of the ideas haven't worked like the fan sofa (Shame on those who felt the need to rip it up), but shes clearly an intelligent astute women who WILL get things right. Also she has every right to ban fans who speak negatively and aggressively at her, how would you like the abuse she has received??

Finally whether we like it or not its ROLANDS club, yes we support the club but it is in no way ours, even though I love Charlton I understand its not mine, we need to chill out and let the people who are in the top seats do their job.

Sorry Pal, I have been a supporter for almost 60 years, and during that time thought I had seen it all - until this shower came along. They are a cancer that needs to be eradicated before it becomes terminal. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, but I have to say I disagree with everything you have written. I think we should listen to @OhAndyHunt, given that Powell as a player (last Charlton appearance in 2008) was before his time and Hunt's last game was in 2000. He clearly has access to some sort of time travelling device.

I assume therefore given his support of RD and KM he has found out that they eventually turn it around and take us back to the Premier League.

@OAndyHunt Firstly let me say welcome to the forum, and yes free speech is a given on here as far as I'm aware. With that said, and I hasten to add I'm not a member of CARD and I speak only for myself, KM is probably the worst CEO of any business I have ever come across. I have worked with and for one of the most powerful and richest (although this is not about money) people in Asia and certainly the world and I learnt from working with him and others that people, from all walks of life, will at sometime make mistakes. However I also learn't that its one thing to make 1 or 2 mistakes, but a whole host of them, especially in a position of CEO would and cant be tolerated. He would never have allowed any CEO to continue after the mistakes made by KM. I ask you to think about Gerald Ratner, he was CEO of a once large jewelry company called 'Ratners', you may have heard of them, but in one, just one, ill-judged comment he had to resign, he told a conference (sound familiar) that the goods his company sold were cheap because they were crap!!
Now lets look at some of KM's comments, well in fact lets not, I'm sure you are well aware of them. However in any other business she would have been dismissed or forced to resign for her ineptitude and lack of understanding.
It may well be that RD could have deflected some of the angst against him if he just had the gumption to realise that KM is not suited to a CEO/COO role in football and certainly not here.
Moving on to supporting the team, yes we all want to do that and for many many many years 1,000's have, but in the end you want to at least see a team trying to win and put in a performance, currently our incumbent manager RS is unable to deliver this and we are at our lowest point in about 90 years.
Whilst I continue to hope RS will get it right on the pitch, there are many things off the pitch which are wrong, most of which can be put down to a very poor SMT lead by KM.

I hope that explains why, as a personal voice, I would like to see KM now moved on, that way we might be able to rescue what is left of the club.
