And then we hired the tit in the away dugout that day....1

No gloves and a ball that was like an Atlas stone4

My grandad likes telling me the story of how he was walking round Charlton village one day and Sam was walking on the other side of the road. My grandad ran across and said "Super Sam!" . Bartram was grinning, patted my grandad on the head and said "hello son". Made a lasting impression. True gent.12

Fantastic. Love seeing the
customerfan in the away shirt going mental after the Mendonca goal.3 -
Fantastic game and been wondering when this one would appear! What a team they were! Super Clive, Powell, Jones, Robbo and too many really committed players to list. Thanks, again, Nug, for making me smile so early in the morning.2

This is far better than opening some bit of crappy branded cardboard, with an even crappier bit of chocolate behind it, each morning.
Being reminded of what we had is bittersweet.6 -
No footage of us going clean through and the ref not playing advantage and bringing us back for a free kick.7

Which would have put us 1-3 up if we'd scored, wouldn't it? You'd have to think we'd have held on to win from there, wouldn't you?guinnessaddick said:No footage of us going clean through and the ref not playing advantage and bringing us back for a free kick.

Goose pimples watching that , remember running down the steps towards the corner flag going mental outta my nut when Jones equalised .

I know it's not supposed to work like this but I always get the hump after watching the daily vid.0

I loved that team. A real example of being better than the sum of your parts. 100% effort and attitude.2
-
And to think now we're supposed to get excited about a last-minute equaliser at home to Sheffield United in the Third Division?
Premier League? Liverpool? Anfield? Pfft.
PS: Looking forward to Lisbinho's hat-trick and Black Sabbath in future days ...1 -
What a fantastic day that was & how we celebrated every goal as one.
There's nothing like being a small cog in a big wheel as was every player in the away strip & every Addick cheering them on.
Whatever else "they" try to deprive us of, they'll never take away our memories.19 -
It's also interesting that de cloob have now started to put out similar montages of past fixtures on a more regular basis (the Man Utd 3-3 on this day fixture went up on Facebook today...), so I don't want to give them ideas, but I have been wondering what other "nuggets" we will be getting over the next couple of weeks -

Lucky to have more than enough happy memories to cover this Christmas and plenty more after that.
If the club are doing their own version, they should be limited to only reminding us of the many great memories that Roland and Katrien have enabled us to witness:
-The nail-biting penalty shoot-out victory over Southampton U23s in the Check-a-Trade Trophy
-The 0-0 draw at home to Huddersfield in Riga's first game in charge, that heralded the dawn of a new era
-The 1-1 draw away to Brentford in Bob Peeter's first game in charge that heralded the dawn of a new era
-The 5-0 defeat away to Watford in Luzon's first game in charge that heralded the dawn of a new era
-The 3-0 defeat away to Middlesbrough in Karel Fraeye's first game in charge that heralded the dawn of a new era
-The 6-0 defeat away to Hull in Jose Riga's second first game in charge that heralded the dawn of a new era
-The 2-0 defeat to Bury in Russell Slade's first game in charge that heralded the dawn of a new era
-The 0-0 draw at home to MK Dons in Karl Robinson's first game in charge that heralded the dawn of a new era
Super sub Piotr Parzyszek's 4 minute cameo at home to Birmingham

Goosebumps.
Powerful.
Emotional.6 -
I thought at first it was a bit of a strange one, but then the bits with SCP at the end explained it all. Seeing that just makes me hate Roland and incompetent Katrien all the more.10

Day 10 and you've finally made me cry4
