Much needed when Lookman goes and Botaka off for the whole of January on international duty.

He was delivering the Newshopper to Sparrows Lane one minute, the next he's wearing Training kit! ;)
I reckon Rd's found a loop hole that say's if he's any good he's entitled to sell him without telling Chelsea.
    Welcome to the asylum.

Jay Dasilva ( Chelsea) being linked with a loan move ( read on another forum)

18 yr old left full back / winger

Would make sense if Morgan Fox is set to leave.

We have our own 18yo LB, highly rated Archie Edwards. We shouldn't be giving Chelsea academy players gametime.
Only if Edwards is ready. We havn't seen Archie near the first team squad yet so it would seem that the coaching staff don't think he is. It would be foolish for us and potentially catastrophic for Edwards to be thrown in when it's too early. If Fox leaves we must sign a replacement during the short window.
    Chicksen is a decent LB?

If Botaka is out for a month, Fox and Lookman leave, surely we need SIX players not a winger and two midfielders?!

Agreed. I think DaSilva isn't going to play full back unless required. Looks to me like a Chicksen, DaSilva left side mix and match. Could be very potent. Let's hope so.

Left Side of Chicksen and Dasilva, Right side Solly and Holmes (if/when fit) Looks pretty good to me (barring any injuries/suspensions)- middle of the park - still seriously lacking.
  • just to recap so far

Possible outgoings: Fox for circa 1m and Lookman 6m

Incomings: Jay Dasilva and a poster signed by Roger Daltrey.

    Who we have signed.

No club would be stupid enough to claim an outgoing player is ill or injured before the transfer window is even open would they....

Looks tiny, don't need anymore players who's are going to get bullied off the ball!

He's not too small, it's just the fact Robinson is a fat c***!

Some seem to be negative about us signing a player, when we have been moaning about us not signing anyone!

If Lookman were staying it would be good, as it is it he is a younger and less experienced player as a replacement, and a loan at that. Makes us weaker at the moment but lets see who else is joining.

It's a loan. Long term successful teams are not built on too many loans as inevitably that player will leave be recalled. The loaning club also gets to call the shots in terms of game time. The continual player churn at Charlton is not condusive to stability or mid to long term success.
  • Commentating on the Hearts game just now, Chris Sutton said that he heard that Tony Watt will be returning as KR wants him
