Glad he has gone, just wish it was a few weeks sooner and we could have nicked Eastwood off Coventry.

Assuming we are buying another striker to replace the two that have left?

I just can't see it. We are told we are running with a much smaller squad, yet still have six strikers on the books.

At long, long last. MC Bender says it all. Had the Birmingham move fallen through, I was going to organise a whip round for a canoe for him so at least when he reappeared in 6 years time he'd be too old to play for us ever agin at least.

[cite]Posted By: Ketman[/cite]Deep joy he has gone, but the most important question is .....was it in time to not now sell Bougherra ?

    I'd guess not

I do wonder why people are jumping up with joy about him going- he was always going- he's gone- we don't pay his wages any more- the end.

He's a journeyman footballer who i couldn't believe Curbs paid £2 mill for. Tbh- I have more emotion about that signing than him leaving.

that's the thing, he wasn't. For him to go there needed to be a buyer, and there wasn't many forthcoming over the last 14 months.

I can almost guarantee that he will score against us next season. In fact i'm willing to bet my house on it.

Glad he's gone .Thought he was over priced and past his best when we signed him..Doesnt even look or play like a centre forward. Give Dicko his shirt.
