Spurs have an excellent 13/14 players and then the cupboard is a bit bare .. will there be any money to buy quality squad players given the huge cost of the new stadium and the temporary move to Wembley ?

Love seeing Spurs blow it again, especially against West Ham.

Didn't really blow it did they, they could've won all their remaining games and they still wouldn't have caught Chelsea given that Chelsea have to play Middlesbrough, West brom, Sunderland and Watford.

Especially true when you look at their net spend in comparison to the other big clubs.

They've been the most entertaining side in that league for two seasons now.

They just lack attacking options off the bench, as Janssen has flopped and Lamela is injured and hasn't really been that special either

I agree. They lack depth going forward but Spurs fans I know, that go regularly think Janssen isn't as bad as many make out. He spent most of the year making 10 mins cameos at the end of games every other week or so. Then was thrown in when Lane got injured and it took him a few games to get going.

They also thought that it should be Dembele and Wanyama in the deeper roles with Ali and Erikson off Kane allowing Son to be the option off the bench.

Although yes Lamella is a loss and that is the area they most need to strengthen next season.

Tottenham should look to re-sign former players Jermain Defoe, 34, and Michael Carrick, 35, to add more experience to their squad, says former Spurs forward Clive Allen. (Talksport)

Didn't realise it was such a cake walk. Fair play to them.
