RIP. I remember much like Paddington coming to London to stay with a new family when I was 6, and although I am sure my adoptive parents knew what they were doing (it was the first set of books they read me) I will always feel a soft spot for that bear.
Have to admit I didn't realise Michael Bond was still alive, but loved the Michael Hordern narrated cartoon when I was little. (And now I've got the theme tune stuck in my head) RIP.
RIP, remember hearing my dad killing himself laughing when reading one day, so I asked him what was so funny, Paddington of course, books for all ages. You got to love that bear
