Exeter (A) No coaches

Just had voicemail from the ticket office informing me that due to low interest in this game there will are no coaches being organised.

Not a happy bunny...ticket refund coming up I think.

Anyone remember when no travel has been organised by the club or the old supporters club?

Did a coach run to Colchester last season in the Football Trophy?

Cheers Chris :)..sorry suffering from a total sense of humour bypass at the moment..just had to tell my son that we aren't going to the game now.

The train fares are a total joke.

I'll have to look at Megabus but it's getting back as I don't think I can afford an overnight stay.

The club should run a coach or mini bus no matter how many are going

The club should pay him for going.

We won't be the only people that have been let down by this decision.

Exactly. Take the loss and make it up as the season goes along.

I don't think my son can get his head around the decision not to run coaches. My son lives in Wales and is down visiting me,i just thought it would be nice to take him to a new ground.

Season hasn't even started and they are already pissing people off :)

The club have told the thousands interested in going that there is no demand.
  • What a joke that they cant even run a bus to the first away of the season.

The club should still lay on a coach but Exeter haven't helped by charging £22 for a game, it's school holidays and if they would have charged less they would have got a few more going.

For the recent CL trip to Ypres I hired a 35 seater coach, with loo, for two days at just over £1,000.00. If the Club did the same and only sold 25 at say £22 seats they'd lose just £450. And we have an owner worth 500m. Jeez.

Maybe they need the money to send Katrien on some more seminars?

never personally use coaches but for some people its the only way they travel, there's no excuse for a competitive match not to have a coach/transport provided by the club.

Exeter (A): No Coaches - It's an experiment. Robbo, Bowyer and Jackson can't make it

It goes without saying, is there anybody in the Bromley to Eltham area travelling there and back in a day by car that would like to share the petrol?

The club have f***** over the fans now we need to help each other.

It simple - insufficient interest. The players have been told to drive down themselves and bring their kit.

pretty basic - and they've failed.

but don't worry we all need to appreciate how much roland and katrien have done for the club, maybe hand over the organising of the coaches etc to a fans group if your unable, not even a week to go to the game and people are being told this news. its shit and not acceptable for a professional sports club which is what they claim they are running.

this is the unacceptable bit. people have bought tickets, booked time off work etc etc. I think it's bad not to run a coach but even worse if you only decide not to do so with only five days before the game. Poor, poor show. Just reiterates their utter contempt for the fans.

@LargeAddick completely, this is a match that we have known about for a v long time, was no chance of it being moved or rearranged due to bad weather etc.

if from the off a coach was not to be run ( the day ticket details were announced ) would be v amateur as i think its west brom - could be wrong do free coach travel to every game, its a reward if you like for being a fan and sticking with the team on those away nights. but people may not have bought tickets or could seek other arrangements.

charlton athletic - the club that hates its own fans.

Club could have a made a good bit of PR out of this.

Run the coach at a loss cos we love the loyal fans, get behind Robbo and the boys, maybe even got a sponsor.

    Opportunity missed

Book yourself in a travel lodge or equivalent and send me the bill.

I believe there is a coach going...........the team have to get down there somehow. Why not turn up & the Valley (or Training ground) at 9am & see if you can bag a lift !!
