Looked a yellow - but whatever - it happens but we haven't really missed him!0

Thought the Novak sending off was harsh but if he's gone in two footed its understandable (Despite that I still feel as though the ref could have been forgiving with it being the opening game so there will be rustiness from players).
Other than that though Rovers havent dominated and its been a struggle to see who has had the man advantage, we've allowed them to play in our half but in turn we're luring them into our half only to hit them with pace on the break2 -
Two footed challenge = red card. Every player knows this but Novak dived in with two feet anyway. It doesn't matter whether it's three minutes in or three minutes from the end, he can have no complaints.9

Haven't read any other post but a blatant sending off, two footed and stupid. I hope knobinsons lays into Novak publicly. We look good but playing with 10 men for 90 minutes including injury time is a big ask. I've read the negative comments against Novak on here and thoughr they were harsh but today he deserves the stick he gets!3

I hope Novak is shipped out sharpish after that pathetic 6 minute performance. Ricky Holmes outstanding and we need to make the most of our set pieces.1

Woke up late and lost 20 mins faffing about trying to get the iFollow video to work, but for the 15 or so mins I saw we were far the better side. JFC and Kashi screening the back four nicely and using it well once they have (so nice to have a proper midfield again) and then some nice interplay between the three forward players left in the pitch, particularly Holmes and Clarke. Very tidy and easy on the eye. JDS also well involved and looks a cut above in terms of his touch and composure - can defend too. Special mention for Fosu who has been tracking back well (he wasn't vs Ipswich) and has carried the ball well out of defence to release pressure.
Lovely header from BFG (crap marking mind you) 75% sure it crossed the line.2 -

Yeah they are the rules. Against Ipswich they would of been down to 8 men with some of their 2 footed challenges. Not even a yellow. Shame we haven't got the same ref.Callumcafc said:Two footed challenge = red card. Every player knows this but Novak dived in with two feet anyway. The three subs will be absolutely key in the second half lack of injuries permitting.0

Have to stick KAG up top with 20-25 minutes to go. Ping balls over his head for him to chase and release the inevitable pressure. Watt won't work hard enough to be up top on his own.1
